Today we remember one of the greatest men of the 20th Century. Martin Luther King Jr. exemplified the myriad of traits all leaders hope to exemplify. While he was in the forefront of the civil rights movement he was never THE movement.
His hope that one day every American has the opportunity of success and failure irregardless the color of their skin has changed the face of this nation. As a country we struggle every day with race, but as each year passes we move in the right direction.
